Ethics and integrity are not buzzwords

Since 1999, JY&A Media has experimented with various video formats including webcasting. Today, we’re developing new interactive television concepts, including those based on our media properties.

What is interactive television?

Interactive television is where the viewer gets to send information back to the broadcaster. It is two-way, instead of one-way.
JY&A Media is currently developing Lucire TV, an interactive series that is based around the story of Lucire, blending it with the stories the magazine staff covers. The stories also appear online at Lucire’s web site—not unusual, since Lucire staff members are already accustomed to having readers suggest stories and acting on their suggestions.
The concept includes getting viewers to choose stories and Lucire staff in different parts of the globe proceed to investigate them.
Because of our ethical stance, one of the issues we are dealing with is how to make the most of our Lucire properties without invading consumers’ privacy.
Presently, JY&A Media seeks partners for this venture. Lucire TV is in post-production in California after its footage was shot in New Zealand by Jason Moon.
