Our advantage

We might be a small company, but we innovate with our acclaimed publishing brands. JY&A Media is the award-winning publishing company behind CAP Online, one of the world’s first online business magazines, and Lucire, one of the highest-rated online fashion titles and a Webby Award nominee for 2003. There’s more: print publications and brand extensions.

The Journal of the Medinge Group

The journal for the world’s most respected branding think-tank will launch online in August 2007, edited by Medinge Group CEO Stanley Moss and featuring the Group’s cutting-edge thinking. URL: http://medinge.org/journal.

Autocade
Autocade

A Web 2·0 pet project for publisher Jack Yan: a Wiki on cars inspired by the work of the late British journalist Michael C. Sedgwick, MA. Sedgwick’s photographic memory and recall saw him author numerous automotive books, and Autocade is an attempt to create a resource from which others can research their work. Online since March 8, 2008; to be officially launched during the year. URL: http://autocade.net.

CAP Online

CAP Online

Dating from 1994, CAP Online is the digital counterpart of CAP. Covering issues related to branding, marketing strategy, globalization and responsibility, CAP Online has been at the forefront of business moves. The magazine predicted everything from the overvaluation of Wall Street, Chrysler’s status as a subsidiary of a German company and “moral globalization” a year before calls for corporate responsibility. Penned mostly by the team at JY&A Consulting, for which CAP Online is the publication mouthpiece. URL: http://jya.net/cap/.

Lucire

Lucire (print)

The pioneering web magazine turns into a print one. Launching in October 2004, Lucire became the first web-to-print fashion monthly in the world, initially starting in the New Zealand market. In May 2005, the Romanian edition was launched, as the second spearhead in a global fashion publishing movement. In February 2008, Twinpalms Lucire launched in Phuket, Thailand. Other countries are to follow.
The same “soul” prevails in the printed edition: honest coverage, a highest-common-denominator approach to writing, and a global approach to fashion for the world-conscious, 21st century consumer.

Lucire

Lucire (online)

The global fashion magazine. With 40,000–70,000 readers weekly, Lucire has won admirers since its founding in 1997 because of a merit-based approach independent of marketing budgets. It’s why it was the first to run feature stories on Oliver Christian Herold, Zac Posen, Bodyhints and Christina Perriam and constantly—and sincerely—supports student shows. Lucire was nominated by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences for the Best Fashion Web Site Webby Award in 2003.
Lucire has never been monopolized by the big fashion centres or dominated by the big fashion brands. Even though New York, Milano and Paris are covered, Lucire regularly manages equal coverage of Montréal, Melbourne and Madrid. Lifestyle, beauty and travel stories round off the global mixture, from a team of worldwide correspondents and editors. URL: http://lucire.com.

Lucire TV

Lucire's brand extension is our attempt at proper interactive television or, at the least, television broadcast. Unlike other fashion shows, it’s about the magazine, not catwalk show after catwalk show, which has been done better by folks such as FTV Paris and Fashion Television. URL: http://lucire.com/tv.
